Edward is a member of the Dutch Organization of Accountants (NBA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), as well as ISACA.
He worked for more than 11 years at a Big Four company (1992-2003), of whom the last 6 years as manager. During this period, Edward gained a lot of (project) experience as an interim professional at various organizations, both profit and non-profit, both domestic and international. After that (2003/2004) he has worked with an SME auditing firm as public accountant. Since August 2004, Edward, together with his wife Olga, is a partner of ELB Interim Finance Management + Accountancy.
In addition to carrying out the regular accountancy activities, he is a specialist in Corporate Governance, (Enterprise) Risk Management and Control Issues. In particular, he is an expert in implementing, maintaining and implementing (IT) Operational Risk Management processes, Information Security processes and Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) regulations. In this capacity, he regularly carries out various consultancy assignments at large multinationals. In addition, he is also available to carry out internal or external audit work on an interim basis.

Edward is married and father of a 19-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. Hobbies are tennis, reading professional literature, genealogy and going out. In the past he has played a lot of sports, especially football, diving, tennis, golf and badminton.
